La Perla di Torino crowned Master of Taste

Deeply linked to the piedmont chocolate tradition, La Perla di Torino entered in the Master of Taste network of Turin and region. Monday, September 17th the historical company that made the chocolate truffle its icon, has been recognized with the prestigious recognition from the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, Slow Food and the Chemical Laboratory, with other 208 excellences of the territory.

This new recognition crowns the path taken in 1992 from the founder Sergio Arzilli, that decided to devote is career to the good chocolate production, and in particular, to the typical piedmont chocolate truffle that represents the top of the range of the production.

“I am extremely grateful to the role given to La Perla di Torino, to valorize and promote the sweet culture in Torino. In 1992, I created the laboratory kind of as a challenge: when I have been diagnosed gluten intolerant, become clear that I could not continue to work following my parents food prints in the family pastry. In that moment, I decided to deep my knowledge of the chocolate field and give a tribute to Turin, the city that welcomed me”.
